DLV Tournament Rnd.1- Mrorddex

    As soon as he received the mission details, Mrorddex rushed to his room and grabbed a few supplies from the shelf. Stuffing various small vials into a pouch and tying it around his waist inside his coat, Mrorddex turned to leave when he saw Octruenyx leaning on his doorway. He slightly bowed to her, "Is there something I may help you with?". She smirked, "No. Seeing you guys try to bring back a Calvary Nobody will be entertaining enough, I'm just curious as to how you think you'll catch it.". Mrorddex walked past her and slightly turned before teleporting, "As a certain fable teaches, 'Slow and steady wins the race.'". As his portal vanished, Octruenyx simply returned to her chambers with a smirk on her face.
     Mrorddex emerged and entered an alleyway in Twilight Town. Already he heard the screams of panicked inhabitants as well as the various noises caused by both hunters and prey. He saw various members, those of DLV and others, trying to fight against the Lesser Nobodies they were assigned to track. However Mrorddex wasn't focusing on their Nobodies, or even his own for that matter. He pulled out a list with various names crossed out say one: Xyonix. It didn't take long to run across her....no literally, the two smacked right into each other. "What the hell is your problem?!", she yelled, "If you're gonna wear a stupid mask, you might want to think about adding PROPER EYE HOLES so as to watch where you're going!". So far the plan was working. "Please forgive me, I didn't mean to crash into you but I need your help.". She scoffed while dusting herself off, "What? Don't tell me the magicians' scared of a tinker toy. Why should I help you?". Mrorddex stood up, "I'm here to ensure the Calvary Nobody returns to Boss Octruenyx no matter how or who brings it in. Sadly my strength is drained from the last mission they sent me on so I'm looking for some muscle and or skill in handling them. Plus, I can cast a Locator Spell to help you track it down and possibly corner it...or do you like wandering aimlessly around here like the others?". Xyonix winced, "Fine, but that Nobody is mine. I won't let some weak, inexperienced hack take all the glory!". Mrorddex nodded, "As you wish.".
     Mrorddex reached in his pouch for a few vials and poured them on a floor in various circular patterns. Xyonix was not impressed, "C'mon slowpoke! I have a Noboby to catch.". Mrorrddex stopped and mumbled the incantation. The circles glowed and smoke emerged and began to swirl around the two. Slowly, they took shape of the Town map and on it two blue dots indicated their position, while a red blinking dot was moving erratically about the place. Mrorddex opened a portal, "From here we should be able to corner him. Let's go~", Xyonix ran right through, "It's about damn time.". Mrorddex followed. As he entered the open area he saw the Calvary Nobody head straight for them as if his attention were behind him. "Alright he's here, now we can~". Mrorddex felt a tug around his sleeve. He looked and saw a very fine string from his coat to the ground. Xyonix stood there arms folded with one up and summoning more of the mysterious string. "Thanks for the help, but I told you, this Nobody is mine. You can stay put.".
     She used various needles and sent them flying across, outlying a certain cage-like structure with her and the Calvary Nobody inside while all others, as well as Mrorddex, remained out. The battle between the two was definitely a sight to behold. As the Lesser Nobody lunged at her, fist flailing, she smoothly dodged and struck with her needles. Though it dodged most, some of the needles made contact and slightly damaged it. It immediately retreated to one of the cage corners and began to spin. After a few rotations, Xyonix noticed the damaged earlier had healed and it began to charge her again. "Cheeky bastard, let's see you try that again.". Readying her needles, she flung them as a flurry of arrows, the strings following. As it tried to halt and retreat, the string entangled the Nobody and sent it falling to the ground. "Got'cha!", she yelled and ran towards it. As soon as she was mere inches away, it hopped upright and began to spin wildly, pulling Xyonix in as she still had hold of the string. She reeled in so fast, she couldn't react quick enough and was knocked aside, flying to an edge of the cage.
     Xyonix could hardly keep her head from spinning. The vertigo along with the pain she felt started to go to her head, her vision blurry. "Is that all you got to stupid piece of crap? All that was was a lucky shot. How about showing me what you really got?". She slowly got to her feet and managed a smirk. The Calvary Nobody began to vibrate and shake with it's own anger as it went berserk and lunged after Xyonix. She readied her needles and began to throw them when a blue glowing square plane emerged from the bottom of the ground and slammed against the Lesser Nobody, then copied itself and surrounded the target until it formed a rune covered box with glowing chains and fell to the ground. Slowly the cage was engulfed in blue fire which followed the string it was burning, then dissipated. Xyonix saw Mrorddex next to the box and picked it up.  "Thank you for your help.". Xyonix grew angry, "What the hell do you think you're doing? That Nobody is mine!". "To fight, yes....to have, I never agreed to that. I needed someone to distract it while I used the remaining vials to entrap the creature in this magic summoned box. Your antics of binding me and sealing yourself off merely helped me in ensuring I would not be interrupted while performing this spell.". Mrorddex slowly teleported away as he smirked, "Besides, it's as you said, ' I won't let some weak, inexperienced hack take all the glory.'".
